Jane and Albert were married at the beautiful Blithewold Mansion in Bristol, Rhode Island. It is stunning…water views and amazing gardens, and of course, a mansion! From a photographer’s point of view, it is the perfect place for a variety of wedding portraits. And that is exactly what Jane and Al wanted. They set aside so much time for photos…it was great! We weren’t rushed at all, and it gave us time to walk all over the property for beautiful shots. Their day began with a first look. Jane looked so beautiful, and Al immediately became emotional. First look photos are always a favorite of mine. From there, we spent about an hour taking just bride and groom portraits before the ceremony. The light was absolutely perfect: there was a cloud cover and it was early evening, so you could see the sun peeking through the clouds. Had it been sunny, these photos would look drastically different. This kind of light is a photographer’s dream! I wish the light were this perfect for every wedding!! Congratulations Jane and Al; enjoy the photos!
Gina and Paul were married on a gorgeous day at Blithewold Mansion in Bristol, Rhode Island. It was honestly perfect weather: low humidity, just enough cloud cover to make a photographer happy, not too hot, but not too cold. Gina started the day with hair and makeup by the fabulous M.A.W. Beauty. Melissa, the stylist, even stayed throughout pictures for touchups to make sure Gina always looked perfect! After hair and makeup, we headed to beautiful Colt State Park in Bristol for the first look, a few bride/groom portraits, and all of Gina and Paul’s family portraits. It was so nice to be able to do all of these before the ceremony so that Gina and Paul could attend cocktail hour and visit with their guests!
Once we arrived at Blithewold, we wandered around the amazing gardens and grounds for more bride and groom photos with just Gina and Paul.Having portraits of the two of them was a big priority, so they made sure to schedule enough time in their day to have many!
Mary and Jim were married at Aldrich Mansion in Warwick, Rhode Island. It was my first time photographing a wedding there, and I have to say it was stunning! A beautiful mansion, with rolling hills down to the water. Mary and Jim made sure to schedule enough time in their wedding day to be able to roam the grounds and take a lot of portraits…it was fabulous! A big thank you to Olivia for capturing photos of the groomsmen, details, and side angles. Congratulations Mary and Jim, and enjoy the photos!
Jami and Brian’s wedding was like no other I have ever been to. You see, Jami and Brian, and several of their friends, play famous characters in shows in Las Vegas! Jami plays Marilyn Monroe, and Brian plays Frank Sinatra. So, in a nutshell, Jami and Brian are good looking and can sing :)
Not only do Jami and Brian sing well, but their friends and family sing well too, and everyone took turns singing to Jami and Brian throughout the reception! It was incredible! What was also incredible, were the beautiful floral centerpieces by Stoneblossom Floral & Event Design, the food by Russell Morin Fine Catering, and Jami’s hair and makeup by Rhode Island Wedding Hair Stylist Cassandra Falcone. When Jami and Brian and their friends and family weren’t singing, DJ Corey Young kept everyone entertained with great music.
One additional unique thing about this wedding, was that Jami wore a blush gown, and her bridesmaids wore white gowns! I may have gone overboard with the amount of shots I included in this blog post of Jami in her dress, but after you see it, you’ll understand why! Especially at Glen Manor House…there are just too many scenic spots on the property to take photos (not to mention the gorgeous staircase!!).
Jami and Brian, thank you so much for having me, congratulations on your marriage, and enjoy your sneak peek!
