Andrea and Michael began their day by getting ready at the Renaissance Hotel in Providence, where they also held their reception. Andrea got ready with all of her bridesmaids and flower girls, who were very excited for the wedding! It was so cute…they couldn’t stop giggling!
Couples always ask me if it’s necessary to have a second photographer- the answer is if you can splurge for one, do it! Look at these beautiful shots my second photographer George Rivera caught waiting in the back of the church with Andrea, while I was standing at the front of the church photographing the processional. How great it was to capture both the moments prior to Andrea walking down the aisle, as well as the smiling faces of everyone walking towards Mike. Since I can’t be in two places at one time, I’m so glad we were able to capture both angles for Andrea and Mike (who decided last minute to upgrade their package so that they could have a second photographer!). Without George there, these photos in the back of the church wouldn’t have been possible. By the way, their ceremony was at the GORGEOUS First Unitarian Church in Providence!
Whenever I am hired to photograph a wedding at the Hope Club or the First Unitarian Church, I always recommend that couples book the John Brown House for couples portraits. It costs $200, and is so worth it- look at the beautiful backgrounds it offers! And it’s just a block away!
