Congratulations, Doug and Mallory! What a GORGEOUS wedding! I LOVED Mallory’s dress….isn’t it unique?? Doug and Mallory were married at the beautiful St. Mary’s Church in Newport. If you are a history buff, then you know that this is the church where John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Bouvier were married. It is gorgeous inside! In addition, the priest gave one of the most moving ceremonies that I have ever been to. Following the wedding ceremony, we headed to the Norman Bird Sanctuary in Middletown for photos. We were worried since it had poured rain all morning, but it stopped just in time for photos! The Norman Bird Sanctuary is the perfect place for traditional “New England” wedding photos: stone walls, large trees, etc. After photos, we finished the day with the reception at the Newport Yachting Center. Events are always run so well there, and their wedding coordinators and staff are so kind! When I was driving out of the parking lot, one staff member even ran over to clean off my windshield because it had fogged up! Definitely one of my favorite places for a wedding in Newport. Enjoy the photos!
